Young and Talented. I am sure you are all sick to death of hearing that.
Do you feel that being young is an advantage or a disadvantage to you in your careers?

Danny D - I feel it’s an advantage it gives us more time in our careers.
Steve Styles - I think it’s an advantage because we have a younger look for the ladies.

You just recently dropped your album titled XTREME. Has it done as well as you thought it would so far?

We think it’s done very well for the time and promotion that it has had.

You have Tito Nieves as a special guest on one of the songs on your Cd. How did that come about?

Well basically “connections”

Are there any other artists that you would like to work with in the future?

Danny D - Yes I would love to work with “Beyonce”
Steve Styles - Yes, “Justine Timberlake” and “Usher” just to name a few.

Do you feel that having music in English and Spanish on your Cd is making it appeal to everyone?

Yes, with the Spanish we can still appeal to the older more traditional Spanish people and with the English or Spanglish we appeal more to the new generation of Spanglish speaking youth, like ourselves.

10 of the 11 tracks on your Cd are self-composed. Which one of you is the writer?

Danny D - 9 of the songs were written by me Steve wrote one and we both wrote one together.

How do you come up with the inspiration for your music, is it all based upon your personal lives?

Danny D - From my personal feelings and from the girls.
Steve Styles - I mostly get my inspiration from life, everything I’ve been through and what goes on around me.

How did you guys get together as a group?

Danny D - Our manager “DRE” put the group together, he handpicked everyone.

 

Do you feel that in 5 years you will still be together doing your thing?

Steve Styles - I think we will be together but also doing other projects as well.

How did you come up with the name XTREME?

We all came up with it together as a group.

Why did you decide to title your album the same name as your group?

That was actually the labels idea.

Did you have any other names for your group before deciding on XTREME?

Yes we had a few but we can’t tell you we might need them for the next album.

Are you guys excited about all the hype that is going on about you?

Of course, we are very proud and grateful.

What is the most exciting part about being an artist?

Danny D - All the traveling and the girls haha.
Steve Styles - The rush I get when I step out on that stage and I hear the fans screaming.

What does each of you do in your free time?

Danny D - I like to work out and write music.
Steve Styles - I like playing ball and working out.

Who are your biggest influences?

Steve Styles - My mother
Danny D - My mom

Do you have any shout outs that you would like to give?

 

Danny D & Steve Styles - I would like to give a shout out to my mom, family, friends, “DRE” our Manager and Everyone from the 2 Strong Family.
