ANGELA: What does XCIEL mean and how did you decide to use that name?

XCIEL: El nombre XCIEL es una combinacion de mi verdadero nombre y mi nombre segundo y fue inventado por mi y por Naldo.

ANGELA: Who is Naldo?

XCIEL: Naldo un gran compositor, cantante y amigo mio y que hoy forma parte de Goldstar Music.

ANGELA: Ohhhh ok. Have you ever worked on music together?

XCIEL: Naldo me trabajo la cancion titulada vamonos q hiba a salir en Sangre Nueva pero por problemas personales no se dio a cabo.

ANGELA: What other artists have you have the chance to collab with?

XCIEL: Por ahora solo con Wibal y Alex.

ANGELA: Ok. What other artists would you like to work with in the future?

XCIEL: Con Daddy Yankee con Kartiel, Wisin y Yandel, Don Omar y muchos mas...

ANGELA: Who would you say your biggest influence in the industry has been?

XCIEL: Daddy Yankee

ANGELA: What is it that he did to influence you so much?

XCIEL: Daddy Yankee apesar de todos los tropiesos nunca se a quitado sigue ahi demostrando que pudo, que puede y podra igual que yo

ANGELA: Ok, so his drive to succeed is what you like?

XCIEL: Sip. Ademas de que es un super artista, un tipo inteligente

ANGELA: How did you get your start in the music business?

XCIEL: Empece cuando mataron a mi primo ahi compuse una cancion junto a Wibal y Alex desde ahi entonces me dedique a la musica

ANGELA: Wow. Did you have a love for music before that or is that where your love for music came from?

XCIEL: No la musica me gusta desde pequeño pero como todos saben el Reggaeton no a todo el mundo le gustaba so era una musica que desconocia pero la musica es algo que siempre ehh amado y seguire amando

ANGELA: There are lots of people that say that Reggaeton is going to be a fad; do you have an opinion on that?

XCIEL: No yo pienso q el Reggaeton es algo que no va a decaer nunca hay muchos talentos en la calle mas de lo que la gente se imagina y no creo que pase de moda

ANGELA: I feel the same and I have noticed that with the Latin Urban type of music there seems to be a hunger in them that no other type of music has right now.

XCIEL: Ujum

ANGELA: That's definitely a good thing.

XCIEL: Yep

ANGELA: So what do you hope to accomplish before the end of 2006?

XCIEL: Bueno para antes del 2006 como sabran el Reggaeton seguira tomando posicion no tanto en los mercados si no tambien a nivel de todo lo que tenga que ver con la musica el Reggaeton va a dar un giro bien fuerte y eso me enorgullese

ANGELA: Nice. So how do you describe YOUR flow?

XCIEL: Bueno mi flow creo que es un flow original no carjaquiao ni copiao jajaja un flow que no siempre sera el mismo ya que siempre estare innovando cosas nuevas no quedandome en lo mismo

ANGELA: Do you have any new albums, demos, videos or anything else that are going to be coming out in 2006?

XCIEL: Estamos trabajando fuerte para ver si logramos sacar nuestro primer disco

 

ANGELA: What is your disc going to be called? Who else is going to be on the disc with you?

XCIEL: El disco hasta ahora no le emos buscado nombre si se q estara bajo la compañia Infinite Muzik junto a mi duo Prophecy, Nandy Rosario, Mister Philips, Wibal y Alex entre otros mas del patio

ANGELA: Ahhh ok. Nice. You grew up in Puerto Rico until the age of 17 and then moved to Florida. Do the people of Puerto Rico still show you the same respect that they would for an artist that lives in Puerto Rico now?

XCIEL: Si creo que durante mi infancia hasta mis 17 años pero si creo que la gente de Puerto Rico y en especial de mi pueblo me siguen teniendo el mismo repeto que antes o talves mas.

ANGELA: Wow. That’s good to hear! Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What do you see yourself doing?

XCIEL: En 5 años con a ayuda de dios espero verme en una pocicion super grande haciendo cosas pues q ningun artistas haya echo y haciendo musica

ANGELA: Where do most of your fans come from?

XCIEL: Bueno la fanaticada en realidad a empesado desde mi familia hasta amistades de ahi para la fanaticada de la calle.

ANGELA: What city shows you the most love?

XCIEL: Bueno hasta ahora Miami es una de las ciudades q mas cariño nos a brindado en cuanto a la musica sin nunca olvidar Puerto Rico

ANGELA: Do you have anything that you would like to say to your fans?

XCIEL: Si que jaja bueno que esperen muchas cosas buenas de mi y de mi duo que no me defrauden que yo no los defraudare

ANGELA: Do you have anything else that you would like to add?

XCIEL: Yo yo este es Xciel del duo Prophecy y Xciel ya tu sabes montandola bien duro esperen pronto nuestro album que viene bien durote besotes atodas mis fans y abrasos pa mis panas

ANGELA: Well thank you very much for your time and for giving us the chance to know you a little better :)
