How are you doing LOE?

I am very happy!! Emotional, Satisfied and working very hard to bring my music to all of the people. Thank you for this interview.

Your welcome! Your name, How did you come up with it?

LOE was the idea of Alex Flores. He took the last 3 letters of my last name to make this project more a part of me.

Do you write all of your songs?

I totally concentrate on my lyrics, until in this album "Lady Reggaetton" I participated in 3 things like composing, but I leave the music up to the experts, of course I always give my opinion and ideas. Alex Flores took charge in bringing these beautiful beats that had so much to do with my personal experiences. And it gave him the feeling that he found something real.

When can we expect the new album “Lady Reggaeton”? and is this your first cd?

Yes, it’s my first cd “Lady Reggaeton” came out the 27th of September and you can get it at stores now. You can also buy it online at www.ariesmusic.com or www.prodstar.com

Why did you decide on the name “Lady Reggaeton” for your cd?

In the beginning, before I chose the name LOE, I was thinking in the name Lady C, but in the end we decided to add Lady Reggaetton because my lyrics are pure, clean, sends a message, happiness, talks about love and despair without taking the famous beat of Reggaeton reflecting in all that I am: A Lady

You have moved a lot around Mexico until the day you arrived in Mexico City alone without anyone, How did this play a role in your music?

I believe that all my life influences have reflected too much on me, I learned to express all my good and bad experiences by writing music. What a marvelous therapy for my soul. I have lived a struggle and many times have had to start over, far from people, a life I also lived when I arrived in LA. The most important thing is to never give up till you reach your dreams.

Ok, well you have experimented with many types of music. Why did you decide to stick with Reggaeton?

In reality the idea was to fuse Latin beats with the likes of hip-hop and pop, like every woman I am romantic, happy, susceptible, angry, etc. Reggaeton was the genre in which i immediately identified years ago, which allowed me to express myself without straying away from my roots as well as explode the Latin beats and energy that runs in my blood.

Who are your musical influences?

I could give you a huge list of great artists, especially the big Reggaettoneros, like Vico C, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Big boy, even in other genres like Celia Cruz, Selena, Yuri, Juan Gabriel, Alejandra Guzmán, etc, etc.

Who is Alejandro Flores and what does he do?

Alex Flores is my producer, my manager and my songwriter. I am sure you can imagine that he does a lot of work. I have known him my whole life, LIKE MYSELF HE'S ALSO LEARNING AS WE GO. He is in charge of every detail of LOE. he supervises every practice, presentation and song written. he is my right and left hand at the same time, etc.

How and where did you meet him?

I met him when I was part of a vocal-choreographic group which he projected. He picked me at a casting that was held in Mexico. Ever since there has been good chemistry between us. We both have been through a lot of good and bad experiences that lead us to believe that together we could complete the project LOE.

When did you decide on making music your life?

It was something that I always had in mind. Since I was a little girl I was always present at every school festival and my grandmother would always sing to me. I grew up in Tabasco land full of happiness and music. As I was growing up my life was surrounded by this kind of culture and that grand desire. When I was 14 Years old, I realized this is what I wanted to do all my life, now that I had the opportunity to participate in different events, national and international, this made me take it as a grand disciplinary way to enjoy what I was good at and the only thing that I wanted to do.

Are there any radio stations that are currently playing your music?

I understand that the major radio stations in California, Arizona, Miami, Mexico and in different night clubs. Don’t hesitate in calling your favorite station now and request the song "Que No Pare" by LOE Lady Reggaeton.

Which song on your album is your favorite? Why?

I like them all. Each one has a special significant of how things happened. The song that really gives me vibes is "Fer", it's about reality situations in Mexico. It's sad but at the same time reflects on the loss of a loved one, family member, or friend.

How long have you been in the music industry?

I have several years knocking doors, since before arriving in LA. It's been a job that implies giving strength, determination and discipline constantly. I think that all that hard work got me through 2005. It united me to the disco graphic press Aries music. I'm conscious that I am an artist out there in the eyes of a lot of fans. It's something that I always wanted to do in my life.

How has the music industry treated you so far?

I have been treated real good, there's a lot of people that really support me and are working really hard to get the LOE project up there. The public have received me with alit of love, I want to send them all my love to, in the same way to all the people that work with me I want them to know that I put all I got into this career.

So what do you do to promote your music and website?

We've been presenting our material in distinct places such as festivals, television programs, radio stations and clubs. You can obtain more info at www.ariesmusic.com and www.prodstar.com

What are some of the artists you have collaborated with?

With the first material that I did, I have 2 bonus tracks by the name "peligrosa" and "levantate" with Brown Boy, he does Hip Hop in English, he's excellent. It's a good combination.

Are there any artist you would like to collaborate with?

It would be fabulous if anyone contemplated on featuring me, I love Vico C and his lyrics, the energy of Daddy Yankee, Don Omar and his emotions of a beautiful flower in his songs, in conclusion, I think that collaborating with other artist would give me great experience and satisfaction.

How do you feel being a part of Reggaeton now that it’s rising in listeners?

I’m very impressed knowing that this genre has had so much of an impact. And on top of everything I’m very proud to be part for it and forming my own style being Mexican in which I have 3 years working on this project.

Which song have you written hits closer to home for you?

The song Prefiero estar Sola, is a song I co-authored, which talks 100% about a personal experience that changed the way I look at life.

How often do you record?

It depends. When elaborating an album in process it takes from 3 to 6 months recording in a studio and promoting the lyrics. Then you have to go back and record some more. I’m hoping that the people will go out and support me so that I can provide them with a future production.

My next question, are you single? (laughs)

Well, there’s someone that supports me 100% on everything that I do with my career, dreams, and projects….I think the answer would be no. (laughter)

Right now we are touring for promotion, and I will be out for a few months, but you can visit me at www.prodstar.com to find out where ill be at.

Apart from the Lady Reggaeton album are there any videos or demos you will be releasing in 2005? What do expect to accomplish by the end of the year?

We have recorded our video from our first promotion “Que no pare.” I hope that it will be released very soon. We will be making more videos, but they will not be ready until next year. I will be working very hard in promoting lady Reggaeton to the people’s liking and satisfaction.

Is there anything you would like to tell the public and/or other artists?

To the people who have supported me I want to give them thanks because they are the ones that give me strength. And for the people that haven’t heard me, I want them to give me an opportunity and listen to my album LOE Lady Reggaeton which is a project I have put much dedication, respect, love, heart and soul into. So don’t forget to support me and get my album in stores now!!!

Cuando fue originado tu nombre y cual es el significado?
LOE surge de la idea de Alex Flores quien tomo las tres primeras letras de mi apellido para crear este proyecto lo cual le da un significado importante ya que forma parte de mi

Compones toda tu música?
Me involucro totalmente en las letras, aunque en este primer material “Lady Reggaetton” solo participo en 3 temas como compositora, en cuanto a la música prefiero dejarlo en manos de los expertos, claro siempre dando mi opinión y algunas ideas. Alex flores se encargo de realizar temas bellísimos basados en muchas de mis experiencias personales, y le dio el sentido que buscábamos algo real…

Cuando debemos a esperar su nuevo disco "Lady Reggaetton"? Y es su primero disco?

Porque decidiste al nombre Lady Reggaetton?
En un principio, antes de que surgiera el nombre LOE, yo había pensado en Lady C, pero al final nos decidimos y pensamos en agregar Lady Reggaetton porque mis letras son letras sanas, limpias, con mensaje, alegres, hablan de amor y desamor sin perder el fabuloso ritmo del reggaetton reflejando todo lo que soy: una dama

Usted se a movido mucho en México hasta que llego a México City sola sin nadie, como ha tenido impacto en su música esto?
Yo creo que toda mi vida ha influido demasiado reflejando mucho de mí, aprendí a expresar todas mis experiencias buenas y malas a través de la música y la escritura, y resulta maravilloso como terapia para el alma, aprendí a luchar en esta vida y saber que muchas veces hay que empezar de nuevo, lejos de tu gente, eso también lo viví cuando llegué aquí a Los Angeles, pero lo importante es que nunca se debe dejar de Pelear hasta alcanzar un sueño.

Usted a experimento con muchos diferentes tipos de música, porque escogiste quedarte con reggaetton?
Realmente la idea era fusionar ritmos latinos con el hip hop y el pop, como toda mujer soy romántica, alegre, susceptible, enojona, etc entonces el reggaetton fue un genero con el que me identifique inmediatamente ya hace varios años, ya que me permitió ser todo esto sin perder mis raíces latinas y además explotando el ritmo y la energía que traigo en la sangre…

Quienes son sus influencias de música?
Te podría numerar una lista extensa de maravillosos artistas, desde los grandes reggaettoneros como Vico C, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Big boy, hasta gente de otros géneros como Celia Cruz, Selena, Yuri, Juan Gabriel, Alejandra Guzmán, etc, etc.

Déjame preguntarte porque tuvo ese impacto la influencia?
Porque es gente que admiro y que a través de su vida, su música y su carrera, me han inspirado a luchar cada día, gente que con su música he crecido, he llorado, he bailado, he vivido y que mejor influencia que la vida misma…

Quien es Alejandro Flores y que hace él?
Alex Flores es mi productor, mi manager y compositor de mis temas, así que te imaginaras que tiene mucho trabajo, conoce toda mi vida y al igual que yo es un emprendedor, se encarga de todos los detalles de LOE siempre supervisa cada canción, cada ensayo, cada presentación, no me deja ni a sol ni a sombra, es mi brazo derecho, el izquierdo, etc, etc.

Como lo conociste y en donde?
Lo conocí cuando yo formaba parte de un grupo vocal – coreográfico el cual produjo él, fui elegida a través de un casting que se hizo en México y siempre tuvimos buena química, vivimos muchas experiencias buenas y no tan buenas, que nos hicieron crecer y que nos unieron para pelear juntos por el proyecto LOE

Cuando pensaste en hacer música tu vida?
Es algo que siempre tuve en mente desde niña, estaba presente en cada festival escolar y mi abuela siempre me cantaba sevillanas, crecí en Tabasco tierra de costa llena de alegría y música, así que mi vida siempre estuvo rodeada por este ámbito y este gran deseo. Cuando tenía catorce años entendí que esto era lo que quería hacer toda mi vida, ya que tuve la oportunidad de participar en distintos eventos nacionales e internacionales, que me hicieron tomar esto con gran disciplina y por la manera en que lo disfrutaba supe que era único.

Cuales estaciones de radio están tocando su música?
Tengo entendido que ya se repartieron los promocionales en las principales estaciones de radio de California, Arizona, Miami, México y también en diversos nigth clubs, asi que no duden en llamar a su estación favorita y pedir la canción “que no pare” de Loe Lady reggaetton

Cual canción de tu disco es tu favorita y porque?
Me encantan todos los temas y sobre todo que cada uno tiene un significado especial y alguna anécdota de cómo surgió, la que más me hace vibrar es la de FER ya que habla de una situación real de mi país México, algo triste pero que nos hace reflexionar, además que involucra la perdida de algún ser querido ya sea familiar, amigo, etc y la impunidad ante la delincuencia…

Cuanto tiempo llevas en la industria musical?
Llevo ya varios años tocando puertas, desde antes de llegar a Los Angeles, ha sido un trabajo que ha implicado mucho esfuerzo y mucha entrega, disciplina, constancia y creo que todo eso me ayudo para iniciar el 2005 con el pie derecho y unirme a mi empresa discográfica Aries Music. Estoy conciente que soy una artista que aparentemente esta empezando para los ojos de mucha gente, pero ha sido un trabajo ya de mucho tiempo y un deseo de toda la vida.

Como te ha tratado la industria de la música?
Me han recibido bastante bien, hay mucha gente que me esta apoyando y que esta trabajando muy duro para sacar todo esto adelante, y se han unido al equipo del proyecto LOE porque les ha contagiado todo el concepto y la entrega que ven de cada uno de los que estamos involucrados y unidos por un mismo sueño, el público hasta ahora me ha recibido con mucho amor y quiero corresponderles de la misma manera a todos ellos y a toda la producción poniendo lo mejor de mi en cada segundo de mi carrera.

Cuales son algunos de los artistas con las que has colaborado?
En este primer material tengo dos bonus track de las canciones de Peligrosa y Levantate donde participa Brown Boy, un chico que canta Hip’Hop en inglés y que lo hace excelentemente bien, quedo una combinación muy padre.

Hay algunos de los artistas que te gustaría trabajar en el futuro?
Sería Fabuloso que me contemplaran para un featuring, me encanta Vico C por su lírica y reflexion, La energía contagiante de Daddy Yankee, Don Omar tiene el sentimiento a Flor de Piel, en fin, creo que el colaborar con otros artistas me daría mucho mas experiencia y sobre todo una gran satisfacción.

Ahora que el Reggaeton se esta haciendo para arriba como se siente ser parte de el?
Estoy muy impresionada de saber que este género tenga tanto impacto y sobre todo orgullosa de formar parte de él como mexicana imprimiendo mi propio estilo en un proyecto en el cual ya llevo 3 años trabajando.

Cual canción que has escrito es mas verdadera en tu experiencia que tu has tenido?
La de Prefiero estar Sola, soy co-autora de este tema, pero habla 100% de una experiencia personal que cambio mi forma de ver la vida.

Cada cuando graban?
Depende, cuando se esta en proceso de elaboración de un disco prácticamente estas de 3 a 6 meses metido en un estudio de grabación y después de promocionar los temas, regresas a grabar, espero que la gente me apoye para que haya siguientes producciones

Yo quiero saber si eres soltera? hahaha
Tengo la fortuna de contar con una persona que me apoya al 1000 % y que me impulsa en todos mis sueños y proyectos….creo que la respuesta es no. jajaja

Aparte de el disco Lady Reggaeton, tienes otros demos o videos que van a salir en este año? Y que esperas lograr antes de terminar el ano 2005?
Hemos grabado ya el video del primer promocional “Que no pare” espero y pronto este totalmente listo, y posteriormente iremos preparando mas videos, pero sería ya para el siguiente año. Yo espero colocar mi material en el gusto de la gente y seguir trabajando muy duro en la promoción de Lady Reggaetton.

Hay algo que quieres decir al publico o a otros músicos?
Quiero darle las gracias a toda la gente que esta trabajando en este proyecto a Alex Flores, Claudio Leiva, Luis G. Pisterman, Nelly Castañeda, a los que directa o indirectamente han influenciado en mí. A el público que me ha apoyado quiero darles las gracias por que son los que me dan fuerza y a la gente que no me conoce todavía quiero pedirles la oportunidad de que escuchen mi material LOE Lady Reggaetton es un proyecto hecho con toda la dedicación, esfuerzo, respeto y amor que esta carrera se merece así que espero que me apoyen ahora In Stores no lo olviden!!!
