MIKE J. GOTTIE: I've been in the business on and off for 2 n half years but i got serious with hidden hand

KRISTIN: Ok. You were in a group called KOS before and then within that group you formed another called PaperChaser why did you decide to leave?

MIKE J. GOTTIE: KOS were my boys I grew up with we all use to rap together and KOS was a street name and PaperChasers was a music name for the ones that were serious about rapping, not that I went solo I was always making my own music and making group projects with PC.

KRISTIN: So when can we expect a solo album?

MIKE J. GOTTIE: Besides the mix tape, I have out right now Hood Poetry Vol. 1, which is a fucking classic in my opinion. I’m also going to be dropping mix tapes every three to four weeks until fall, which will be time for my first album Moment Of Truth, everything is being produced by KIKO.

KRISTIN: Wow that is a lot of mix tapes.

MIKE J. GOTTIE: Yea. I live, eat and shit in the studio.

KRISTIN: HAHA. How would you describe your style of music?

MIKE J. GOTTIE: Straight stories and poetry, it’s da shit HIP HOP is missing but I make all kinds of music shit if I could do country I would do it and if I knew Spanish I would do salsa too hahaha.

that’s how I felt when I was with her.

KRISTIN: Awww. So what is your favorite song that you have written?

KRISTIN: What makes that song your favorite?

MIKE J. GOTTIE: Because so many people can relate to it I mean most people growing up in the streets often fantasize about a better life and most of them don't have enough drive and determination so they end up in one place fantasizing about where they want to be.
