How did you feel being voted “The Latin Rapper to Watch”
in 2004 by People Magazine en Español?
It felt good, after so much time and hard work it was like an
unexpected gift.
Have
you been nominated or won any awards? If so, which ones?
No not yet, but hopefully in the future.
Who
are some of the artists that you have worked with?
Wyclef, Petey Pablo, 3LW, George Lamont, I’ve also worked
with artists like Bimbo, John Eric La Rocka, Chyno Nyno, etc.
What is your favorite song from your album ‘Caminando’?
I like all of them but my favorite is the title track, “Caminando”
Why
is that particular song your favorite?
Because I talk about the “struggle” of living by people,
especially the Latin people. It’s a song about the “travels”
that we all make on a daily basis.
Are you single?
Yes, as of now.
What made you write the song ‘Estrella’ that you dedicated
to all of the famous Latin women?
I love Latin women. Besides mentioning all the beautiful Latina
stars, my true Stars are in the streets. I see them everyday in
the hood.
How do you feel that your style in ‘Caminando’ differs
from your previous style in ‘Quien es Enemigo’ ?
I was more relaxed with this album. I had more time to think about
what I wanted to write and to study the song-writing process.
I also have more experiences under my belt to write about and
this let me focus more.
What do you do for fun?
I am a music fan, I like music of all types. I also have an artist
that I work with by the name of Chyno Nyno. We are in the process
of finishing his album.
Who is in your group and what do they do or play?
I’m a solo artist.
Where did your name originate and what does it mean to you?
In reality, in the World there are no friends, I am the enemy
of the bad. Enemy of jealousy, Enemy of bad people, Enemy of the
corrupt.
How would you describe your music in your own words?
It’s something different. If you listen to what’s
coming out right now in terms of the Spanish Rap, it’s totally
different. I try to go against the current.
Is your music exclusively in Spanish or do you have English songs
too?
The album is totally in Spanish except for two or three hooks.
Also I have a song with Petey Pablo entitled “Set It Off”
where we go back in forth. Me in Spanish and him in English. It’s
fire!!
How do you feel that everyone has treated you since you started
in the music biz?
Well at first it was difficult to get into the music business.
People can’t forget that it is a business. But now I think
that after being in this game so long I have gained the respect
of my peers.
Is
there any new albums, demos, videos or anything else that is scheduled
to be released in 2005?
My new video, “Estrella”, is out right now. You can
check that out on all the Latin music channels, (MTV Español,
VH-Uno, MUN2, etc.) “Estrella” was also selected to
be a part of the EA Sports game for Sony Playstation 2, FIFA 2006.
And of course I’m working on my new album as well.

do you promote your music & website?
I try to communícate with as many people as possible. Be
it by telephone, email or in person. I try to give everyone a
person touch. I like to talk to people. It’s something that
I do everyday. If I don’t do it, who’s gonna do it
for me?
What radio stations are currently playing your songs?
It’s all over the United States and Puerto Rico.
What do you hope to accomplish before the end of 2005?
I would like to sell 100,000 records. That would be nice.

Como te sientiste ser selecionado “The Latin Rapper to Watch”

Me senti bien, despues de tanto tiempo y trabajo fue como un regalo
que no esperaba.
Has sido nominado o recibido algunos premios? Y si es que si,
Cuales?
No todavia no, pero ojala en el futuro.
Cuales son algunos de los artistas que has trabajado en el pasado?
Wyclef, Petey Pablo, 3LW, George Lamond tambien he trabajado con

Cual es tu cancion favorita de tu album “Caminando”?
Me gustan todos pero mi favorito es “Caminando”
Porque esa cancion en particular es tu favorita?
Porque hablo del “struggle” de la vida de la gente,
especialmente la gente Latina. Se trata del “camino”
que todos hacemos todos los dias de nuestras vidas.
Eres soltero?
Si, por ahora.
Que te hiso escibir la cancion ‘Estrella’ que tu dedicas
a toda las mujers Latinas famosas?
Me encanta las mujeres Latinas y aparte de mencionar las famosas,
mis verdaderas Estrellas estan en las calles y las veo todo los
dia en el barrio.
Que es lo que sientes de tu estilo en ‘Caminando’
es diferente al estilo en ‘Quien es Enemigo?
Estuve un poco mas relajado con este nuevo disco. Tuve mas tiempo
para pensarlo y estudiar mas las canciones. También tengo
mas experiencias y eso me ayudo a enfocar.
Que es lo que haces para divertirte?
Soy un fanatico de la musica, de todos tipos. Tambien tengo un
artista de rap en Español que se llama Chyno Nyno. Estamos
en el proceso de terminar su album…..
Quien esta en tu grupo y que instrumentos tocan?
Soy un artista solo.
Cuando fue originado tu nombre y cual es el significado?
En realidad, en el mundo no hay amigos, yo soy enemigo de lo malo.
Enemigo de la envidia, Enemigo de la mala gente, Enemigo de lo
corrupto, etc.
En tus propias palabras, como describirias tu musica?
Es algo differente. Si oyes lo que esta saliendo ahora mismo en
el Rap en Espanol, mi musica es direrente, Trato de ir en contra
de la corriente.
Tu musica es exclusivamente en Español o tambien en Ingles?
Mi disco esta totalmente en espanol, lo unico que vas a encontrar
en ingles son dos o tres “hooks.” Tambien tengo una
cancion con Petey Pablo que se llama “Set It Off”
adonde el rima en Ingles y yo en Español. Es fuego!!
Como
te han tratado la gente desde que comensastes en tu carera
musical?
Bueno al principio fue dificil entrar a este negocio. La gente
no se puede olvidar que a lo fin, todo es un negocio. Pero ahora,
como un veterano de este juego, pienso que tengo el respeto de
la gente especialmente los otros raperos en el juego.
Algunos
projectos nuevos, demos, videos o cualguier otra cosa para
el año 2005?
Pues mi nuevo video, “Estrella”, esta en rotacion
en los canales de musica en español. (MTV Español,
VH-Uno, MUN2, etc.). Tambien la cancion va a salir en el nuevo
juego de EA Sports para Sony Playstation 2, FIFA 2006. Y por su
puesto estoy trabajando en un disco nuevo.

Trato de comunicarme con lo mas gente possible. Sea por el telefono,
por email o en persona. Trato de darles un sentido personal. Me
gusta hablar con la gente. Es algo que hago todos los dias, si
no lo hago, quien lo va hacer para mi.
Cual estasiones de radio estan presentemente tocando tu musica?
Esta por todo los Estados Unidos y tambien en Puerto Rico.
Que esperas lograr antes de terminar el año 2005?
Quiero vender 100,000 discos. Eso serial indo.
